50 US States - American Quiz

Do you know where New Hampshire is located? What city is the capital of Minnesota? In this app, you will learn all 50 states and state capitals of the United States of America! All state flags and contour maps! From New England and the Mississippi River to the Pacific coast and the Rocky Mountains wilderness!

You can learn states of the Northeast (for example, Maine, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania), then move to the Midwest where you find Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, etc. Continue with states of the South from Arkansas and Georgia to South Carolina. And finish with the West: states such as Montana, Idaho, and others.

Questions are divided into six groups:

1) Guess the name or the postal codes of the state highlighted on the US map (for example, KY for Kentucky, MD for Maryland).

2) Spell the names of the state capital cities (e.g. Denver is the capital of Colorado; Nashville is the capital of Tennessee).

3) Recognise the state by its geographical borders.

4) A game about state flags.

5) Dates of admission to the Union: from the First State - Delaware (December 7, 1787) - to the 50th state Hawaii joined on August 21, 1959.

6) State nicknames: famous like “Empire State” for New York or “The Great Lakes State” for Michigan; and less-known such as “Peace Garden State” for North Dakota or “Show Me State” for Missouri.

In each group, you can choose several game modes:

* Spelling quizzes (easy and hard).

* Multiple-choice questions (with 4 or 6 answer options). It’s important to remember that you have only 3 lives.

* Time game (give as many answers as you can in 1 minute) - you should give more than 25 correct answers to get a star.
